Bio - Laura Gandy, Accompanist

Laura Gandy is a pianist and educator. She retired from Moore Public Schools in 2022 after a career teaching secondary social studies and language arts. In addition, Laura taught vocal music in Mid-Del Schools and Edmond Public Schools, with her students receiving superior ratings in Concert, Sight-Reading, and Show Choir Contests. She graduated from Oklahoma City University, earning a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Secondary Education. As well as choral accompaniment, and past private piano and homeschool vocal music instruction, Laura is also part of the praise and worship band at Waterloo Road Baptist Church. Laura is thankful to be able to encourage teachers and students through piano accompaniment in the fine arts community.
